The Boulder area of BOSCO SCORACE has been recently set in a woodland on the plateau between the towns of UMMARI and Buseto Palizzolo.

The spot is easily accessible, and offers sandstone blocks full of crimps, pockets, buckets, and heel hooks on all sorts of inclinations, with no lack of technical and delicate mantles at the end.

In addition, many blocks are quite high, and almost all have a convenient base and easy fall.

The spot is composed of three different areas,  a few minutes apart of each other,  but distinctly separated: Bevaio,  Astronave, and Rocche Forbici.

Approach

From the B&B Polvere di Stelle (Ummari - TP)

Take the SS113 road toward Fulgatore

After almost 3km turn right taking Via Benuara route on the SP 35 road, and continue for almost 9 km.

Once at the crossroad with the SP57 road, turn left and right after 50 meters turn right taking the unpaved road named Via Trazzera del Casale.

Continue for almost 2km going straight into the wood up to a widening in front of the first blocks, where you can park your vehicle.

Travel time: almost 15 min.

From San Vito Lo Capo, TP

Take first the SP16 road, then continue on the roads  ss187, SP22 and finally SP 57 toward BUSETO PALIZZOLO for almost 40 km.

Continue on the SP57 passing Buseto Superiore up to a crossroad with an unpaved road on the right, named  Via Trazzera del Casale.

Take this road and continue for almost 2km going straight into the wood up to a widening in front of the first blocks, where you can park your vehicle.

Travel time: almost  1 hour.
