Falesia di Celano

The crag of Celano, established in 2015, is nestled in the pinewood above the city.

The rock is a very good and compact limestone, good for climbing in the mid-seasons.

The climbing style is various and technical, and the routes are continuous and/or bouldery, with some run outs in their easiest sections.

The approach is easy and the base of the routes is comfortable.



Avvicinamento stradale

FROM ROMA AND PESCARA

Take the highway Roma-Pescara and exit at Aielli-Celano.

Continue toward Celano and then toward Ovindoli taking the SS 696 road.

Once at a long straight, park your vehicle on the right side of the road, about at the km 44.

FROM L'AQUILA

Follow the signs to Ovindoli, taking the SP 38 road.

Once at Ovindoli go down the SS 969 road toward Celano.

Park your vehicle on the lft side of the road, about at the Km 44, almost 1 km before entering the city of Celano.
