Something about Colle della Rocchetta

The Crag is a volcanic rock called "Peperino delle Alture". It offers a fine grain and a big grip in most of the routes, and a battle with technique and feet confidence will be a must…just a difference between go hard or go quietly. You’ll find a slabby movement and smooth crimps or  hard and boulder movements with small crimps or pockets.

WARNING The crag is placed inside a wild and picturesque forest (look at Holly Tree because this is a protected species), where it is not unusual to see animals like porcupines, fallow deer and wild boars, while constant is the presence of birds of prey. The paths are also used by hikers, hunters and Forestry, for control of the nearby”Arcionello” regional parks and the “ZPS MONTE CIMINO NORTHSIDE”. Even so, we invite you to a CIVIL BEHAVIOR, with the leave no trace spirit ethics - Respect Wildlife -Plan Ahead and Prepare - Dispose of Waste Properly - Be Considerate of Other Visitors – Don’t Camp – Don’t make a campfire- Leave What You Find -
