Description

The crag of Falcioni is WEST oriented and offers to you perfect climbing conditions during the cold season with no wind.

During the intermediate season, you have all day long to enjoy this place. In the summer period, you can climb early in the morning until the sun arrives.

Not rarely you can meet roe deer and wild boars. For this reason, don’t leave any organic waste in the Crag.

Approach

BY CAR

From the east coast take the Highway A14, Exit at "Ancona Nord” then take the speedway SS76 direction to Rome. Exit at Sassoferrato and follow the signs to Falcioni. The parking is in the small built up of Falcioni. You will find it on the right just before the intersection of a narrow unpaved road on the right that goes up to Fontanelle a very small hamlet.

BY TRAIN

Railway Ancona - Roma, Genga - S.Vittore Terme station then 2Km direction to Falcioni built up and 20 minutes walking from the B&B Revellone to the crag.

BY PLANE

Airport "Raffaello Sanzio" Ancona – Falconara then take a domestic train (Rome direction) and get off at Genga - S.Vittore station. From there 2km walking on main roads and 20 minutes walking from the B&B Revellone to the crag.

From the closer end Built-up of Falcioni (where you have to park the car on the right 43.415692, 12.984775) you must walk 200mt till the sign of B&B Revellone. You can find water at the start of the path to the Crag. Don’t park in the closer unattended park on the left we had several cases of robbery in the cars with forced doors and windows broken.
