Something about Loreno

Loreno

The crag, discovered and bolted in 1990 by the climber Andrea di Bari, is located at the hillside of Mount Solenne among the forest of the east side majestically dominating the valley below.

It’s at an altitude level of about 900 meters. The walls are in shadow until about 14:30 o’clock. Thus it’s good for climbing in springtime, in summer, and in the early autumn.

The access is easy following the path.

In addition to the historic and hard routes of the sector, the nature and calm make it worth visiting the crag.  The climber will test his qualities on a compact limestone and very overhanging wall.

Strong fingers in the short and explosive route at the ends of the sector, while in the central part of the crag in addition to the fingers, will also need endurance and figuring out the right movement between slope pinch and holes.
