Rocca Canterano
The crag of Rocca Canterano is composed of two climbing areas, at an altitude of about 850 meters and North- East faced, nestled in nice wood. The first area offers single pitches with lengths ranging between 18 and 35 meters. The second has only multi-pitches routes, but it can also be used as a single pitches area because all the first pitches have a chain with an open carabiner at the stop. The base of the routes is comfortable and the approach is quite easy. It’s good for climbing in summer (during the afternoon) and during the mid-seasons. Not recommended in winter, because of the cold and of the humidity. The climbing style is various, because the walls are vertical, but interspersed with nice roofs, and cut by corners. The anchors are all certified and made of A4 stainless steel.
