Something about Triponzo

Description

The Triponzo’s cliff lies along an ancient hollowed out in the rock road. It’s a fresh and not crowded crag, ideal during the summer. Discovered in 2007 by Roberto Fantozzi, Mirko Zambesi and Claudio Fantozzi, it offers a technical and various climbing on vertical or slightly overhanging walls.

The rock is an excellent limestone, and the location (an imposing - gorge of the Nera river.) is very nice.

Whereas the two oldest areas are recommended for summer climbing, the newest one (SuperTufonite), discovered and equipped by Maurizio Tufoni is a winter crag.
