Pier Giorgio Delfino was born in Cogoleto in 1958. His passion for climbing began at 26. In 1984 he has started climbing in Finale.

IN 1998 he has started exploring the Rian Cornei Valley and equipped the Eco Inferiore crags. In 1991 he discovered the Silenzio Superiore crag.

After some years during which he practiced only not climbing sports,  he came back to Finale, and with glue on bolts equipped the Futura and Ghiro areas, at Rocca di Corno. Many other crags equipment will follow: at now (May 2017) he has equipped 34 crags, for a total of 477 new routes.
