Born in Penne (Pescara) in 1999, Andrea D’Addazio started climbing at the age of 12, together with his brother Cristian.

Now hi’s studying at the technical-Commercial Institute of Penne. He did his first 8a at the age of 13, then he improved up to his first 8b+/c, doing the first repeat of “Mannaja” at Pennadomo. Since now he climbed on sight many routes, up to the 8a, and red-pointed about 70 routes harder than 8a.

He participated in many national climbing competitions, and started opening climbing routes in the crag of Carpineto della Nora at the age of 15. He fully lives his passion to the climbing and likes travelling and discovering new places.
