On the Mount Scindarella
I joined the CAI (Italian Alpin Club) in 1965, in the SUCAI, the University Sub Section, that doesn't exist anymore (now the Sub Sections have been replaced by the Groups).
In the SUCAI I learned to climb. Then, in 1969, when my son grew up, I routinely climbed around, mainly IV grade, on the Alps and on the Mount Gran Sasso, both rock and classic mixed.
Since 1989 I took part in the active life of the CAI (Italian Alpin Club) of Rome as a hiking guide.
I also held various positions in the Club: member of the Hiking Commission of the Lazio region, responsible of the Senior Group since 2005 and, for three years, representative of the Seniores Lazio in the National Italian Alpin Club.
