This time was different...

Sending the route was the end of a long and deep internal process, lasted for about two years.

Many times I stopped trying Arborea, to send other routes, and always I went back to it... its call was strong. Arborea was there, waiting for me: it was a fixed idea.

I knew that to climb it, I needed a higher gear, I needed to find a balance, to get free from any insecurity, to have no fear of not succeeding.

It was really hard for me to fight the precariousness of this route... Hard to find the ideal conditions to try it, hard to bear the burning of the skin, and, above all,  hard to deal with the fragile micro-holds.

And precisely for this last reason I propose the grade 8c+.

But, regardless of the grade, Arborea is and will remain "my" route, the one that made me mature as a climber and above all as a man: thanks ArboreaImage removed.

Thanks to all my friends that during this time support me and believed in me, and particularly to Marcello Ferrini and Giordano Renzani.

Thanks to Daniele Adriani for the belay, and to Donatella Ruggiero and Venanzio di Giulio for the cheer.

And thanks to Cristian D'Addazio and Simone De Laurentiis for the pics.
