Luca Girgenti was born in Palermo on April 25, 1990. Since he was eight, he has belonged to the Scout Movement.

He started to climb just after his scientific high school diploma, in April 2008.

In 2011 he has joined the Alpin Rescue team of the Western Sicily, and since 2013 he has orbited around the Palermo’s Alpin Italian Club school activities. Now he is a student at the Faculty of Civil Engineering.
